I'm Alex Sander, Senior Product Designer and self-knighted sauce queen traveling the world as a proud @delishiterian. Ran track & field at SCAD and graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in User Experience Design 2018. 

Currently, I am running Sol Soul Studio working directly with clients to identify and visualize their business's soul to connect with customers.

My Approach

I approach every project as a strategic designer, with a love for tackling complex system problems. I am energized by challenges and see them as opportunities to innovate and create value. I believe that simplicity is not about doing less, but about making powerful tools easier to understand and master. Regarding visual design, I prioritize creating a natural and seamless experience that respects the user's context and needs. 

Prior, I have worked in a fast-paced engineering environment over the past six years. I have honed my skills in conversion rate optimization, A/B multi-variate testing, and UX/UI experimentation from early-stage VR startups to growth-stage corporations.  

I led a design team at Ford Motor Company’s X IDEO innovation lab which has taught me the importance of collaboration, storytelling, and strategic alignment in designing solutions that truly stick and add value. I am an active listener who asks challenging questions and amplifies the experiences of others so that all perspectives are heard. I am dedicated to sharing user stories and aligning teams to user goals.
